The national symbol of the New Zealanders; the Kiwi. The remarkable bird has hair-like feathers and no wings. It's popolution has decimated due to new predators such as man, stoats and dogs. We saw them alive at Kiwi Encounter: a working hatchery and nursery, but not in the wild.
