This is a white ALPACA with long hair. We also saw them in brown and with shorter hair. The Alpaca is domesticated almost exclusively for its wool, finer than sheep’s wool and used mainly for clothes in the highlands. Marc tried the alpaca meat in a restaurant in Arequipa.
